With hemostasis, protective effect. Band-aids are suitable for small wounds with relatively superficial wounds, neat and clean wounds, little bleeding and no need for sutures. A Band-aid can actually be applied for no more than 24 hours. Band-Aids should be changed frequently. At the same time, you should take the time to go to the nearest hospital for regular disinfection to avoid unnecessary infection.

Brief introduction of Band aid

Band-Aid is the most commonly used surgical drug in people's life. Band-Aid, also known as "hemostatic plaster", has the function of hemostasis and protection. It consists of a long strip of adhesive tape with a small piece of gauze soaked in the drug attached in the middle.

Due to the limitation of its structure, Band-Aid can only be used for emergency treatment of small wounds, so as to temporarily stop bleeding and protect the wound surface. But it should be noted that the use time should not be too long. If you use it for an extended period of time, the tape on the outside of the Band-Aid is not breathable. It will make the wound and the skin around the wound white and soft leading to secondary infection of bacteria. This will make the wound worse. But be careful, once soaked, be sure to replace it, otherwise bacteria will more easily enter the wound and make it worse.
